Overclocking the processor helps increasing the CPU Score
Obviously enough, this kind of motherboard wasn’t designed with power saving in mind. Even in idle condition, it draws quite a large amount of electricity from the wall outlet. We recorded 165 watt with the Core i7 930 running at stock speed. Overclocking it to 4,4 GHz further increases the power consumption to 265 W, in idle state. Make sure you have a powerful enough PSU if you want to apply multi-GPU configuration and team it with a super-overclocked CPU.
