Unigine Heaven 2.1
Setting : DirectX 11, AF x16, No-AA
We like the beautiful sceneries in this benchmark, which also happen to show what DirectX 11 graphics look like. The MSI N450GTS Cyclone 1GD5, however, clearly does not have what it takes to run the benchmark with adequate frame rates at higher resolutions. The only condition where it scored more than 30 FPS is when we lowered the resolution to 1360×768 and turn the tessellation setting to “normal”.
Setting : Hardware Acceleration On
In 1920×1080 MPEG 4 transcoding scenario, the MSI N450GTS Cyclone 1GD5 was the fastest among the others. All cards were equally fast in 720×480 MPEG 4 transcoding scenario.
Higher clocks mean that the MSI N450GTS Cyclone 1GD5 consumes more power compared to the standard version of GeForce GTS 450. During full load conditions, the power consumption is about 11 watts higher than the reference GTS 450. When idle, they both consume roughly the same amount of electricity.
