Acer Aspire 4738Z: Old Looks, New Processor

Conclusions

The Aspire 4730Z is a basic notebook that handles the job quite well. In multi-threaded programs that are limited to only two working threads, the Aspire 4730Z may be able to match the performance of Core i3 powered mobiles. However, in more recent applications, its Pentium P6100 processor series tends to lag behind the Arrandale family of CPUs. At the end, if you’re looking for a mobile platform suitable for a multitude of lightweight tasks, such as running office applications, simple photo editing, internet browsing, to watching HD movies, the Acer Aspire 4730Z might be a good pick.
