Korenix Releases JetNet 4518 Industrial 16+2SFP Combo Managed Din-Rail Switch with -40~75^oC op. temp. for Large Scale, Flexible Networking Systems!

Korenix launches the new JetNet 4518 Industrial Ethernet Switch with 16+2 SFP combo ports specifically designed for large network applications requiring high-port density connection and flexible distance installation.

Equipped with the exclusive MultiRing technology the switch with 16 Fast Ethernet and 2 100M SFP combo ports is capable of aggregating up to 8 fast Ethernet copper plus 1 fiber/copper rings while ensuring the network reliability for various distance applications with up to 5ms recovery time.
With its advanced Layer 2+ management functionalities, such as LLDP and JetView Pro i²NMS, QoS, VLAN, IGMP snooping, L2+ ACL….. as well as MSR and MSTP network redundancy technologies the JetNet 4518 ensures highly reliable data transmission and provides efficient network management. Furthermore, the rugged design with IP31 enclosure and -40~75^oC wide operating temperature range makes the new switches the ideal solutions for large scale industrial applications under severe environmental conditions.

High-Density Fast Ethernet Interface Design for Enhanced Performance
JetNet 4518 is equipped with 16 10/100TX Fast Ethernet ports and 2 Fast Ethernet SFP combo ports which allow users to provide different switch configurations depending on the distance of the specific automation application. The outstanding high-density Fast Ethernet port design enhances product’s performance and saves costs while substituting 2 low port switches. The embedded switch backplane further ensures the traffic switching without data loss and blocking.

Non-Stop & Reliable Data Transmission with 9 MultiRings and 5ms recovery time
The JetNet 4518 switch supports the Korenix patented MSR network redundancy technology which ensures reliable and uninterrupted data transmission with up to 5millisecond recovery time. It also supports MultiRing technology to fit in flexible network applications while forming 9 Fast Ethernet rings to expand the system through multiple copper rings and 1 fiber ring.

Outstanding Management through Auto Device Discovery
To fulfill advanced management, control and security requirements of industrial networks, the switch incorporates various outstanding network management features. In addition to SNMP, the switch provides LLDP and perfectly works with Korenix patented JetView Pro industrial NMS allowing administrators to discover over 1000 devices, automatically draw topologies and efficiently manage industrial network performance in mission critical environments.
