Review – NVIDIA GTX 580: Fermi at its Best
Graphics Card
This is our GeForce GTX 580 card, a reference sample from NVIDIA.
The GeForce GTX 580 looks rather simpler compared to NVIDIA’s previous flagship, the GTX 480. The cooler’s body is optimized for SLI multi-GPU configuration. Gone are the protruding heatpipes, as found in GTX 480’s cooler. We know that the reference GTX 480 has a relatively high operating temperature. What about the GTX 580 with its seemingly modest heatsink then?
