[PR] MSI’s MOA 2011 Operation: Las Vegas a Success 3DMark11 World Records Broken
[Las Vegas, NV] Overclocking took on a new level during the Consumer Electronics Show Expo this year and MSI’s Master Overclocking Arena 2011 was where all the action took place.
After 6 hours of grueling competition, 5 liquid nitrogen containers, and tons of tweaking the America’s champions were crowned – Splave and Romdominance of team OCAlliance from the US! Not only were they the victors of this glorious battle, they also broke existing world records for 3DMark11’s single GPU score with a P9213!
Taking on the theme of a Military Operations, MSI provided XPower motherboards and N580GTX-M2D15D5 graphics cards with Military Class Components to be the weaponry for the overclocking soldiers, and performed well even after 6-hour extreme overclocking. The event also contained displays of MSI’s full component product line with Military Class II Components for 2011, including MSI P67/H67 series motherboards launched in CES 2011.
Jason Lee, Global Director of Marketing at MSI, stated “Military Class Components is a build philosophy that lays the groundwork for enthusiasts to push their system to the extreme limits, and breaking the world record is a testament to that.”
