Review (PowerColor) AMD Radeon HD 6790: Affordable yet Powerful

This is the PCB layout as seen from the back. PowerColor uses red PCBs instead of the black ones as found in reference HD 6790 cards.

As with any other modern graphics card, PowerColor HD 6790 uses the PCI Express 2.1 x16 interface, which is compatible with earlier versions such as the PCI Express 1.0.

Need more graphics processing power? You can connect this card to another HD 6790 using the Crossfire connector on the upper part and run the pair in multi-GPU configuration.

Display output selection consists of one DVI connector, a full-size HDMI 1.4a port, and one mini-Display Port 1.2 connector. Fairly complete for today’s standard.
