Round Up Test: SandForce 2 SSD
Performance Test
Metoda Pengujian
Considering the fact that most users will likely use one of these SSDs as a boot drive in their system, two synthetic benchmarks and one benchmark suite was used in this comparison test. Three runs are carried out for every test. Results are then averaged to get the final score. Prior to executing each test, the SSDs are brought back to their optimum performance using Secure Erase (instead of TRIM).
HDTune and Crystal Disk Mark account for 10% of the final score, while the remaining 80% comes from PCMark 7 Storage Benchmark. This is because PCMark 7 storage test could better represent the SSDs’ performance in real-life, windows-based environment using its various test scenarios.
HDTune

The overall scores are presented below:

In HDTune, Team Xtreem S3 secures the top spot. Kingston’s Hyper X is a bit behind by 0,3 percent, while the Agility 3 could not keep up with the rest of the pack due to its different memory type.
Crystal Disk Mark

Crystal Disk Mark’s overall scores are as follows:

Corsair Force GT is the best performer in Crystal Disk Mark, followed closely by Team Xtreem S3 and Kingston HyperX. OCZ’s Vertex 3 and Agility 3 came in at the 4th and 5th positions, respectively.
PCMark 7 Storage

The final scores of PCMark 7 can be seen in the graph below:

Aside from the Agility 3, all contestants in our test perform very similarly to one another. It needs to be noted though, that the Kingston HyperX SSD won this benchmark by a very small margin.
