[PR] AirLive introduced all-in-one wireless 5GHz 11N CPE Airlive AirMax 5N/AirMax 5N-ESD

Taipei, Taiwan – AirLive, one of the most advanced worldwide brands for networking and communication equipment, introduced the newest generation of all-in-one wireless 5GHz CPE build on 802.11 A/N standard Airlive AirMax 5N. Besides this model, Airlive also designed model AirLive AirMax 5N-ESD which includes 8KV ESD* (electrostatic discharge) protector.

This solution for building wireless outdoor network is cost effective, reliable and includes many features and great performance. It runs in a spectrum of 5.1 to 5.8 GHz. The CPE enclosure is built with high grade anti-UV materials for protection from prolonged sunshine and rain. It includes an integrated 16dBi 5GHz antenna with horizontal, vertical, or diversity polarization. The internal PCBA slides out for easy maintenance. The built-in advanced passive Power over Ethernet is for the deployment of the PoE network environment.

With the integrated directional antenna and high performance 150Mbps 11n radio, the AirMax5N/AirMax5N-ESD can reach long distance using the built-in antenna. AirMax5N/AirMax5N-ESD is also equipped with R-SMA connector. System Integrator simply connects a hi-gain external antenna to the R-SMA port. After this step, he can choose the CPE to use vertical, horizontal, or external antennas from the web interface.

Despite of its compact size (long 220 x width 80 x height 35 mm), the AirMax5N/AirMax5N-ESD are packed with full performance hardware and software. The long distance radio provides longer distance and better signal than the competition. The AirMax5N/AirMax5N-ESD can function as an AP, Client, WDS, WDS Repeater, Gateway or WISP. Therefore, user can instantly transform the CPE to different wireless applications.

With the new AirLogic interface, the web configuration is much more user friendly than ever before. User can simply start by selecting a wireless mode, the AirMax5N/AirMax5N-ESD will display only options available in that wireless mode.

The AirMax5N/AirMax5N-ESD provides the capability to control total connection or per user’s bandwidth. Therefore, the WISP operators can offer different class of connection speeds for different subscription fees, just like the ADSL service.
