Kehadiran platform baru FM2 membuat para produsen motherboard berlomba-lomba mengeluarkan produk mereka. Kami persembahkan ASUS F2A85-V Pro !
Terlihat skema penamaannya terlihat bahwa produk ASUS yang hadir ke lab kami mengusung chipset yang kasta tertinggi dalam line-up produk yang diperuntukkan untuk APU Trinity. Dengan menggunakan chipset A85X, tentunya fitur yang diusung oleh motherboard cenderung diperuntukkan bagi para pengguna advance dan power user yang mampu memanfaatkan fitur yang disediakan secara penuh.
Secara line-up, saat ini F2A85-V Pro merupakan produk dengan tingkat tertinggi yang dimiliki ASUS. Umumnya seri dengan sufix V-Pro cenderung mengutamakan fungsionalitas diatas fitur-fitur yang sekedar melengkapi paket penjualan sebuah motherboard. Umumnya V-Pro bukanlah seri yang teratas dalam sebuah line up motherboard, diatasnya masih terdapat seri Deluxe. Jika berkaca dari seri FM1, sepertinya V-Pro memang seri teratas yang akan dihadirkan ASUS. Wajar jika memperlakukan motherboard ini sebagai sebuah motherboard high-end.

Saya dengar2 katanya motherboard untuk APU sesudah trinity tetap compatible dengan procie trinity. Apakah compatibility tsb bersifat bolak balik atau tidak ? Masud saya procie trinity bisa ditancapkan ke M/B yg diperuntukan bagi APU baru, begitu pula APU baru bisa ditancapkan ke M/B dengan socket FM2 tanpa harus update BIOS.
M/B baru berikutnya akankah bernama FM2 atau FM2+ Kalau 100% compatible bahkan bersifat bolak balik kenapa harus diembel embeli tanda + (plus). Mohon wejangan Mas Bhisma. Matur suwun / thank you
