Review Motherboard Gigabyte Z77X-UP7: Si Orange Legenda Overclocking Telah Kembali

The Orange motherboard itulah nama kesayangan yang berikan kepada lini motherboard overclocking dari Gigabyte. Setelah sekian lama absen dari seri mainstream, akhirnya Gigabyte mengeluarkan motherboard overclocking dalam bentuk Z77X-UP7. Dengan mengusung tagline A New Legend is Born, motherboard ini mencoba menggabung sebuah motherboard yang khusus untuk overclocking tetapi juga mencoba mengakomodasi kebutuhan tipikal power user. Akankah harapan ini tercapai? Mari kita simak bersama.

Sebelumnya motherboard berhak menyandang nama motherboard overclocker dari Gigabyte hanya X58A-OC dan X79-UD7. Keduanya merupakan motherboard yang menggunakan chipset kelas extreme. Banyak overclocker yang berharap Gigabyte membawa lini overclocking kekelas mainstream. Sepertinya harapan tersebut terjawab ketika pada Computex 2012 Gigabyte memamerkan sebuah board yang menyandang nama Z77X-UD7. Pada saat itu masih merupakan spekulasi apakah board tersebut merupakan board overclocking karena jika kita lihat diatas versi awal memiliki color scheme yang all-black . Ternyata harapan para overclocker dunia diwujudkan Gigabyte ketika produk final dari board ini mengusung warga orange-hitam.

 

 

Para overclocker berharap banyak pada Z77X-UD7. Cukup wajar mengingat silsilah yang harus diikutinya. X58A-OC menyandang nama sebagai motherboard overclocking pertama dunia, ini membuat penerus dari motherboard ini akan diharapkan untuk mengikuti atau bahkan melebihi prestasi board ini. Terbukti X79_UD7 yang tidak berhasil memenuhi ekspektasi tersebut. Hadirnya Z77X-UD7 dengan tagline A New Legend Is Born mencoba untuk memenuhi garis keturunan sebagai penerus dari X58A-OC.
