SSD: A Closer Look
Media show Espresso is a video encoding program that is often used for benchmarking purposes. It supports both NVIDIA’s CUDA and ATI/ AMD’s Stream acceleration. These results below are indicated by the time needed by each corresponding storage device to finish a video conversion. Lower graphs represent better scores.
In this video encoding benchmark, we also did not notice any significant difference between the storages used. SSD is no faster than an ordinary hard disk in this video encoding test. A faster processor would get you more performance increase than an SSD.
