Package and Contents

This is the package box of Galaxy GeForce GTX 470 GC version!. Note the picture of a galaxy portrayed on the frontal section of the box. The box livens up to its name, at least. This is but a cosmetic layer put on the outermost part to cover the actual container in it.

We found a sticker covering a large part of the front section. It displays the following information regarding the graphics card contained within:

• Advanced Flip Fan Design with Blue LED
• Cooler and Quieter
• DUAL BIOS with Xtreme Tuner HD Support

On the back of the box, we can see that Galaxy is trying to distinguish itself from the rest of the graphics card crowd by explaining the “8 good reasons why you should have a graphics card”, along with, of course, the justification as to why should someone chooses Galaxy instead of others. Quite interesting, but still, the call is yours to make.

After opening the outer layer, you will stumble upon a black cardboard box. This is the actual packaging where the graphics card, along with other package contents, is contained.

Aside from the usual, bundled driver disc, manual, warranty card, and installation guide, we found a unique bonus inside the box: a mini- HDMI to HDMI display output cable. It’s sitting on the bottom section of the picture, see? This should come in handy when the user plans on using an HDMI display, such as large screen monitors or TVs.
