If you’re still hanging on to Office:mac 2004, there’s the 192MB 11.6.0 update that does the same as the security update for Office 2008 and applies to all versions of Office:mac 2004 including individual installations such as Word 2004, Entourage 2004, Excel 2004, etc.
You’d be well advised to apply these updates to your Office:mac installations to avoid any potential attacks that may occur.
Lastly, there’s the 45MB Open XML File Format Converter for Mac 1.1.6. This little utility program lets owners of Office:mac 2004 or older to open files created in Microsoft’s latest versions of Office whether it’s from Office 2007 for Windows or Office 2008 for Mac. As the name suggests it converts XML files into a format that is readable on older versions.
