Office:Mac 2011 Hits the Shelves on October 26th

Microsoft has made the launch date for Office:Mac 2011 official. The new Office suite will be on sale starting 26 October and will carry much more wallet friendly price tags.
In this iteration of Office:Mac, Microsoft has replaced Entourage with a brand new version of Outlook specifically written for Mac OS X. The new version of Word has a two-mode full screen view optimized for reading or writing. There is a lot of new and optimized features in other components as well including integration with Office Web apps.
The Home and Student version will be sold for $119 for a single license or $149 for a family pack with three licenses. The Home and Business version is to be sold for $199 for a single license or $279 with two licenses. There is also an Academic edition available though the pricing has yet to be announced.
