Now this is the graphics card itself, Palit GTS 450 Sonic Platinum with its non-reference cooler.

The custom heatsink unit provides enough cooling to keep the temperature around 69 C in full-load conditions and 34 C when idle. Not too bad for an overclocked GTS 450 graphics card.

Two copper heatpipes help transfer the heat from the GPU chip to the aluminum fins right on top of the cooler’s base.

The PCB layout on the back looks rather simple.
