【Taipei】The finals of MOA (Master Overclocking Arena) 2010 is being held by global Mainboard and Graphics card leading brand MSI was held at National Taiwan University Stadium tomorrow. There are 20 teams of overclocking masters from worldwide countries contending for the titled of the overclocking champion. To echo this year’s theme of “Star Wars”, a variety of campaigns and activities will be also presented at the venue, including the Princess Leia Voting Campaign in which the Sexy Duo from NCCU dressed up in three different styling looks. In addition, MSI will also give away desktop computer worth NT$60,000 as the prize giveaway. The luck winner among the audience will have the priceless opportunity to enjoy dinner with Princess Leia.

From the “Roman Arena” in Taipei for MOA 2008, to “IT Olympics” in Beijing for MOA 2009 and “Star Wars” for MOA 2010, MSI has made this an annual event that all overclocking masters in the world look forward to. This event has also contributed to the high awareness of MSI in the overclocking community.”
Bringing MOA back to Taipei this year, MSI especially spends more than a million NT dollars in creating the Sci-fi ambience as in Hollywood movies. In addition to the exciting sound and light effect, MSI also features time gallery, tri-color aurora space and the giant battleship descending from the roof. With the steel cylinders of liquid nitrogen (LN2) used to cool down the motherboard and all the glittering high-tech gadgets, the event successfully replicates the classic scenes in sci-fi movies.

20 Teams from 16 Countries with Female Contestants from Poland and Sweden
20 teams from 16 countries contend for the overclocking champion for MOA 2010, and there are no short of overclocking masters in these teams. Last year’s champion, Elmor and ME4ME from Sweden got into the world finals by clinching the title of European semifinals while the Italy team cannot be overlooked even if it just enters the finals for the first time. MSI notes that in order to attract more people to participate in the event, it has raised the stakes by giving away prizes worth more than NT$100,000.
Besides, the two candidates for Princess Leia Voting Campaign, Wong Tzu-Chi and Ke Nian-Shuan, the Sexy Duo of NCCU, will not only campaign for their votes at the venue, but also give away more than 100 light saber popsicles to compete for popularity. Ke Nian-Shuan says she admires how Princess Leia in Star Wars boosted the morale with her gentle yet resolute attitude.
