MINIX 785G128SP: “Salad” Mungil Yang Bertenaga
Home Theater Personal Computer (HTPC) merupakan salah satu konsep komputer yang sedang digandrungi belakangan ini. Hal tersebut dikarenakan Anda dapat sekaligus memiliki sebuah alat untuk menampilkan file multimedia ke sebuah home theater dan menjadi sebuah PC saat dibutuhkan. Konsep ini tentu saja mengharuskan dimensi yang dibawa HTPC lebih kecil dari desktop PC biasanya. Tentu saja, pengguna tidak ingin menaruh desktop PC yang besar di bawah monitor TV mereka bukan?
Selain dimensi yang kecil, tentu saja HTPC mengharuskan pemakaian kipas yang tidak bising. Dengan begitu, prosesor yang dimiliki juga harus memiliki TDP yang rendah, sehingga putaran kipas dapat diminimalisir tanpa membuat panas berlebih. Dengan rendahnya TDP, tentu daya yang dipakai akan lebih rendah. Apalagi jika HTPC tersebut memiliki onboard graphics yang tentu saja memiliki daya yang lebih rendah dari graphics card terpisah.
Konsep inilah yang ditawarkan oleh J&W dengan Minix 785G-SP128MB. Sesuai dengan namanya, motherboard ini memakai chipset AMD 785G dan merupakan motherboard pertama yang memakai form factor miniITX dengan chipset tersebut. Chipset ini pun sudah dilengkapi dengan onboard graphics Radeon HD 4200 yang mampu digunakan untuk menonton film-film Blu-ray dengan lancar. Untuk itu, lihat saja spesifikasi lengkap di bawah ini.
