Review NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570: All the Features for Less
The Vapor Chamber Heatsink

The inner workings of the cooler as revealed by lifting up the cooler’s body. It consists of two main parts: the blower fan, and the Vapor Chamber heatsink.

The Vapor Chamber heatsink relies on an efficient heat-transfer method to dissipate heat from the GPU core. Read our first article on the GTX 580 for more details.

GTX 570’s blower fan is relatively quiet and doesn’t generate too much vibration when operating in Auto mode.

We noticed some reduction of PWM components compared to the GTX 580, maybe due to GTX 570’s lower power consumption which eliminates the necessity of an equally extensive PWM array.

On a GTX 580 board, a capacitor occupies that vacant corner on the lower right side.
