Third Person Action/Shooter Games
Batman Arkham Asylum

Setting : No-AA; Maximum Quality
Lost Planet 2

Setting : DirectX 9; DirectX 11; Motion Blur-On; Shadow Detail-High; Texture Detail-High; Rendering Level-High
According to our results, at 1920×1080, Lost Planet 2 was still too much of a challenge for the GTX 460. Even in DirectX 9 mode, the frame rate remained below 30 FPS. Reducing the resolution to 1280×720 solved the problem, increasing the frame rate to above 40 FPS. Switching to DirectX 11 mode while maintaining this resolution reduced the frame rate to a lower -but still very much playable- 32 FPS.

Setting : DirectX 11; Motion Blur-On; No-Shadow; Texture Detail-Middle; Rendering Level-Middle; DirectX 11 Feature-Middle
Resident Evil 5

Setting : DirectX 10; Motion Blur-On; No-AA; High
