Review Thermaltake Power Express 650 – Affordable Power for Your High-end Graphics
Installation

This is the installation scheme as described on the back of the package box. Note that an additional cable is attached to the motherboard’s 24-pin ATX connector to trigger the Thermaltake Power Express 650 on system power up.

The Power Express 650 occupies two 5,25” drive bays in front of the casing, as shown here.

Thanks to its modular design, you can choose to only plug the cable you really use and leave the rest on the box.

In the above picture, we used the Thermaltake Power Express 650 to power up two GeForce GTX 580 graphics card, which made full use of the available connectors (2×6-pin and 2×8-pin cables). Other graphics cards were also used in our tests.

The main power cable runs through a backplate bracket. From there, you can plug it to a wall outlet.
