Review-Gigabyte G1.Assassin: High-end Gaming in “Military” Style, Part 1 (Features)

The “Front Access Control Panel” provides additional USB 3.0 ports, an eSATA/USB port, and a “Quick Boost” button.

The “Quick Boost” button lights up green when the feature is not active. When pressed, the color changes to orange to indicate that the feature has been activated.

What does the “Quick Boost” button do? According to our CPU-Z monitoring, the “Quick Boost” increased our processor’s base clock (BCLK) from 133 MHz to 140 MHz when activated. You can activate this feature at any time after OS loading is complete to get a small boost of speed.
