Power Consumption

For a single card, the GTX 590 consumes a lot of power. This is understandable given the sheer amount of transistors embedded in its twin GPUs. Uniquely enough, its power consumption is lower compared to a pair of GTX 570 in SLI.
Temperature
Temperature is monitored during Unigine 2.1 benchmark runs. Note that each GPU operates at a different temperature level compared to the other. Perhaps this is because the airflow going to GPU # 2 was slightly obstructed by the display connector construction on the back plate. Speaking of which, the fan emits relatively minimal noise, even when working at 100%.
