The Days of Axis International Jazz Festival 2011
Day Two: An Explosion of Visitors!

Nobody wants to miss a chance to see a live performance of George Benson and Carlos Santana on day two. We could see that from the amount of visitors coming at the second day of Java Jazz Festival 2011. Around 7 pm, the number of crowds increased drastically. In our opinion, it shows that Jazz is still the kind of music loved by many people young and old alike.

The second day was just as exciting as the first one. Owners of special show tickets enjoyed amazing performance from the grammy award winner George Benson. Shortly after he performed on stage, Benson greeted the media in a press conference. The 58-year old man appeared jazzy and formal in his white blazer.
Surprised by the large number of people who enthusiastically waited for him since the afternoon, Benson said he was happy to meet his fans in Indonesia. Sharing happiness by playing inspiring music for those who like his songs is the best thing he wants to do as a musician. When asked about the motivation behind his “Tribute to Nat King Cole” show, Benson humbly answered that Nat King Cole has always been his role model during his entire career as a musician. “He made me arrive at this point, and it is only fair if I give a special tribute to a figure who leads me to where I am now,” he said with a smile.
