In these synthetic benchmarks, an overclocked GTX 590 appears to be just as fast as a pair of GTX 570 in SLI and HD 6990. It could even be faster than those two. However, when overclocked to our maximum setting (742 MHz core and 3600 MHz memory), the GTX 590 ran onto some problems in 3D Mark 11, so we thought it’d be best to exclude the score obtained under this setting.
