[PR] GIGABYTE GeForce Global Tech Tour 2010 Has Succesfully Come to an End

The planet’s most powerful graphics cards and the coolest gaming gear have traveled across three continents

Taipei, Taiwan, October 22^nd, 2010 – GIGABYTE, a leading manufacturer of motherboards and graphics cards, is proud to conclude its first graphics card and peripheral oriented global tech tour. Co-marketing with NVIDIA, GIGABYTE has hosted 13 exclusive global events at various local venues. From August to October, GIGABYTE VGA crew, including division director, marketing mangers, sales managers, product managers and marketing and sales specialists, has traveled across Asia, Australia and Europe to promote the ultimate 400 Series from GeForce GPU’s as well as GIGABYTE’s new premium peripheral series, Aivia.

GIGABYTE GeForce Global Tech Tour has served as a platform for direct communication between the manufacturer and the media as well as business partners. On August 9^th, the first seminar kicked off in Taiwan where GIGABYTE is headquartered. The crew soon traveled to twelve more countries (listed in chronological order): Thailand, Australia, Germany, Malaysia, Vietnam, Hong Kong, South Korea, Poland, Russia, China, UK, and France.

NVIDIA’s Fermi series, GTX 480/ 470/ 460 and GTS 450, and GIGABYTE’s very own Super Overclock series graphics cards were the key subjects at these conferences. As a key player in the gaming industry, GIGABYTE knew graphics cards alone could not satisfy hardcore gamers, and has thus generously offered our most important guests an opportunity to get a first-hand experiment on Aivia K8100 Gaming Keyboard and our international bestseller M8000X Macro Gaming Mouse.

The sequence of events has generated a great interest among press and GIGABYTE partners worldwide. To sum up overall attendance, hundreds of representatives from media, distributors/dealers, and nearly a hundred representatives from GIGABYTE & NVIDIA have cordially participated in these occasions, resulted in more than a hundred pieces of online media coverage (data collected as of October 15^th, with more to come). GIGABYTE GeForce Global Tech Tour 2010 has successfully marketed GIGABYTE graphics cards and peripherals. Feedback and suggestions in regards to product design from media worldwide are widely appreciated.
