Motherboard micro-ATX umumnya identik dengan gambaran motherboard murah dengan kinerja dan feature yang tergolong standar. Gambaran seperti ini memang tidak sepenuhnya salah karena motherboard micro-ATX tertentu memang memiliki gambaran seperti ini. Review kali ini akan membahas salah satu tipe motherboard produksi ASUS seri Republic Of Gamers (ROG). Motherboard ASUS seri ROG memang selalu menawarkan sesuatu yang spesial di dalamnya. Feature berlimpah, paket penjualan unik, dan komponen berkualitas merupakan nilai tambah yang patut diperhitungkan dari motherboard ASUS seri ROG. Hal ini memang tidak aneh karena motherboard ASUS seri ROG memang ditujukan untuk kalangan gamer dan tidak menutup kemungkinan menjadi senjata andalan para overclocker.

Motherboard yang datang ke lab pengujian kali ini memang tergolong unik. Seluruh keunggulan motherboard ASUS seri ROG dipadatkan ke dalam faktor bentuk micro-ATX. Dengan mengombinasikan dengan chipset Intel Z68 maka terciptalah ASUS ROG Maximus IV GENE-Z.
