Setting: P-Rating 3D Mark Vantage’s “CPU Score” calculations are heavily influenced by the number of available threads. More cores mean more speed, and the Core i5 655K was left behind its 6-core adversary.

Setting : CPU Test (800x600; Low) – GPU Test (1920x1080; High; No-AA; Trilinear) Left 4 Dead is a bit dated according to today’s standard, but it sure shows how much your system scales based on its overall performance. Here, more clockspeed means more frames, and overclocking the Core i5 655K really pays off.
Setting : CPU Test (800x600; Low) – GPU Test (1024x768; Low; No-AA; Trilinear) The Core i5 655K’s integrated graphics chip, however, shows no performance increase whatsoever when the CPU unit is overclocked, in our custom made, Left 4 Dead “GPU Test” timedemo at least.
