Jakarta, 27 April 2012 — ASUS memperkenalkan tipe terbaru motherboard TUF series, SABERTOOTH Z77, berbasis prosesor Intel® 3rdGeneration Ivy Bridge terkini dan chipset Z77. Produk motherboard TUF Series dari ASUS hadir dengan komitmen menghadirkan komputasi yang stabil dan tangguh, dimulai dari penggunaan komponen military-grade untuk memastikan kualitas dan keandalan dalam jangka waktu yang panjang. Tambahan fitur terbaru antara lain adalah serangkaian solusi thermal yang inovatif, seperti desain Thermal Armor terbaru dengan tambahan pendingin pada area VRM, dan desain unik dengan lubang tambahan untuk konveksi panas, juga Thermal Radar versi terkini dengan fungsi terbaru yang disebut Fan Overtime untuk memproteksi komponen penting pada sistem dari mencegah resiko overheating setelah shut downPC. Dipersenjatai Desain Aliran Sirkulasi Udara Terbaru
Dibuat dengan tema militer, desain Thermal Armor terbaru ini dilengkapi dengan dual turbo fan yang membuat motherboard SABERTOOTH Z77 tetap dingin, hening dan yang terpenting tetap stabil saat beroperasi. Thermal Armor juga dirancang untuk menjaga temperatur komponen VRM, dengan mengarahkan udara panas menjauh dan keluar dari sistem berkat desain aliran udara yang cerdas. Heatpipe khusus juga digunakan untuk menghantarkan panas secara efektif, dan I/O cover fan khusus untuk melepaskan panas dan meningkatkan kestabilan, sekaligus memperpanjang umur pakai motherboard. Fitur terbaru dari desain Thermal Armor adalah tambahan lubang untuk konveksi panas pada bagian penting motherboarduntuk aliran udara dari fan ke sisi motherboard sebaliknya, sehingga sistem menjadi lebih dingin.
Perlindungan dari Penumpukan Debu
Dust Defender adalah tambahan pelindung pada Thermal Armor yang terinspirasi tema militer, namun fungsinya bukan untuk menjaga suhu tetap dingin, tapi lebih untuk mencegah berkumpulnya debu pada celah slot atau port. Setelah pemakaian beberapa lama, kumpulan debu dapat mengganggu titik kontak pada konekstor slot atau port yang dapat menyebabkan menurunnya transfer data sehingga komponen penting dan mahal seperti kartu grafis tidak bekerja maksimal. Penutup khusus motherboard TUF mencegah masuknya debu, menjaga slot PCI, RAM dan konektor USB sehingga tetap siap memberikan kinerja terbaik.
Lebih Dingin dengan Thermal Radar dan Fungsi Baru: Fan Overtime
Thermal Radar secara realtime memonitor temperatur bagian penting pada sistem, sudah diperkenalkan pada motherboard SABERTOOTH terdahulu, dan dapat secara otomatis mengatur kecepatan fan untuk memastikan sistem bekerja pada tingkat kestabilan yang tinggi. Thermal Radar terbaru dilengkapi dengan fitur baru, Fan Overtime, yang memungkinkan dua fan turbo akan tetap berputar selama beberapa menit setelah sistem shutdown atau standby untuk membuang sisa panas. Dengan membuang sisa panas yang masih berada di dalam PC case dapat mencegah kerusakan, sehingga memperpanjang umur pakai, dan dapat lebih dingin 7°C hanya dalam 10 menit. Pengguna juga dapat mengatur kapan fan berhenti berputar, dengan menggunakan preset atau dengan menentukan batasan suhu, atau lama waktu setelah sistem shut down.
